REVIEW [excerpt]: Blink-182 battles maturity in Denver, My Chemical Romance and Rancid join the fray

"...My Chemical Romance and Rancid also played the bill, which was part of both the Honda Civic Tour and KTCL's Big Gig. MCR, always a welcome sight for Denver rock fans, put in a full hour of doomsday-tinged arena rock to thunderous applause. More surprisingly, aging Bay Area punk band Rancid went over like gangbusters in the opening slot. If Blink-182 can resurrect themselves, why not bring some friends along for the ride?"
