NEWS: Bob Bryar “Suicidal” After Being Kicked Out Of MCR

In speaking out about his departure from My Chemical Romance, drummer Bob Bryar might have just hinted at a band reunion.

The ex-My Chem sticksman says he was “depressed, angry, suicidal” when he parted ways with the band five years ago… But also that he “won’t be back”.

Bob (far left) was behind the kit for the band for around six years, but was kicked out of the group in 2010. At the time, the band released a statement giving no public reason for the split (“This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly”), but, this week, Bob has spoken out about his departure.

The drummer posted: “It’s been about five years since I was kicked out of MyChem. I became the most depressed, angry, suicidal person ever.”

In a later tweet – which was swiftly deleted – Bob also alluded to a My Chemical Romance reunion, stating, “In a recent conversation, I was told I won’t be back.” Of course, having been out of My Chem for a couple of years before their split, it’s unlikely how much inside information the drummer has.

See a screen grab of the deleted tweet below:

Bob joined My Chemical Romance in 2004, replacing original drummer Matt Pelissier. He parted ways with the group in spring 2010, around the same time My Chem got started on recording Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys – their final full-length.
