ARTICLE: Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance: A match made in Tampa

Blink-182's latest tour, sponsored by Honda Civic? Such is the state of modern punk that we didn't even (ahem) blink when we heard that news. For all we know, drummer Travis Barker (pictured) has a Burger King logo somewhere among all those tattoos.

Luckily, our righteous indignation is dimmed somewhat by the prospect of hearing new songs from Blink's first album in nearly eight years. As for co-headliners My Chemical Romance? We were pretty sure they were done as soon as "Glee" used their song "Sing," but then Glenn Beck called it "propaganda" (for what, we're not sure), so we suppose that earns them back a little street cred.


Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance are joined by Matt & Kim on the Honda Civic Tour, coming to the 1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa Sept. 24. Tickets are $32-$83.50, on sale now.
