INTERVIEW: My Chemical Romance 'Our new album is a fight'
Gerard Way, Mikey Way and Ray Toro of My Chemical Romance recently stopped by the Rolling Stone studios to chat with senior writer Brian Hiatt about their bold new album Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys.
"It's really the kind of record where you kind of need to put your
money where your mouth is," says frontman Gerard. "If you made the
record with the intention of trying to change something, or rebel
against something, then it's a fight. So I accepted that at a certain
point. This record kinda is a fight."
