Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker — better known as Blink-182 — have been back at work in the studio on a new album, “Neighborhoods,” which is set to drop in September. The first single from that disc, “Up All Night,” hit the airwaves in July. The pop punk band is known for its irreverent humor on songs like “All the Small Things” and “What’s My Age Again?”
The members of My Chemical Romance took a well-deserved break after their tour for “The Black Parade.” A little time off let the foursome recharge creatively, leading to their latest album, “Danger Days.” The band has a more grown-up tone now — they’re pushing 30, after all — that hearkens to the group’s early works while expressing a more modern, creative sound.
