On Friday, May 6th, the World Contamination Tour entered
Philadelphia,PA...After a three year absence, My Chemical Romance
returned to Philadelphia to play a three hour set at the Tower Theatre
in Upper Darby, PA. The show roared in at about 7p.m.The openers
included The Artichetcs from Kansas City, MO and hometown heroes,
THURSDAY.
The Architects received was to be considered a lukewarm welcome from
the overzealous crowd. Next up around 8p.m. was THURSDAY. Their new
album, No Devolucion was released this past year. At around 9p.m. the
band of the hour arrived. The band began the show with hits like
"DESTROYA" "NANANA" & "SING" from their new record, "Danger Days and
the Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys" Sweaty and overexcited I screamed
all night long because for the first time in three years, MCR was
finally "home".
